Im new here, this is my first post. I have a 58 175 with a 180 Lyc. Just bought it, I like it, but it has the real ugly and uncomfortably skinny upside down W shaped control wheel.
Does anyone know where I can get a set of later style wheels? I like the closed in rectangular shape, not rams horn.

I have 1 original control yoke for a 1958 model. I paid about $30 for it and would take us much. The paint is faded maroon but it still has the original stickers on it, however it is somewhat bent and will need to be straightened by your mechanic. (the yoke is bent, not the tube).

Thanks for your reply. I think you are describing the same yoke that I have, I hope to find something newer.
Yeah, mine are maroon also, in my opinion thats another reason to get rid of em.

Ever think of getting them leather wrapped?

I am in the process of replacing my control wheels I have a 1960 with the enclosed rectangular wheel. they have the center name SKYLARK. They are ivory in color and are in good shape. I would like to get a $100.00 for the set.
