The wheel snap (one shot) and almost lose control while landing. Happy result, safely on the ground and 2 days later i change both yokes blink.gif icture under my galery

The original control wheels on many Cessna were plastic. There is an inspection AD.
I have the plastic wheels but came upon some made out of some sort of metal.
Had the same thing happen to me in a 1963 C210 while I was on short final. Was interesting for about a second.

you'al need to get rid of the DEATH GRIP on these yokes.....

The plastic control columns can be very dangerous, then. I am glad you made it through Norman. I have the aluminum control yokes in my 59 175.
